Doctors are man. How are you, Dan? I'm fine, thank you. Thanks for having me here.
Absolutely, it's nice to have you.
Before we get to today's topic, please fill us in on your mission and your work, let me explain to you a little bit about... My profession, I've been practicing medicine for over 25 years, and I practice mostly mainstreaming for about 20 years, but during the Juris, I saw that what we're doing in mating is really not the right thing to do, so I decided to change gears and I moved to another area, which is the alternate melting, so I started to investigate other treatments, other modalities, and learn more and more and more, and I found that those areas are very effective when it comes to treatment, so I decided to start basically practice in mainstream anything and I learn a lot about alternative medicine and... And I became more 35 in anthemic, and that's what I've been doing for the last five years, and so far has been very rectifying.
Well, I can't read to learn about what you're doing, and it's nice to have you here. And we have a lot of questions for you today.
Today we are talking about how we can battle fatigue, and again, a lot of questions, a lot of people are suffering from fatigue, so doctors are... Right. Now, what is fatigue?
Well, I... This basically not feeling well, feeling tired, not being able to be able to perform your optimal efforts, basically, it's been tired and is one of the most common symptoms that here... Almost every patient I see, he said, Oh, I'm here 'cause I feel tired.
He doesn't matter how all you are, it happens a lot, and you wanna make someone's life miserable doctors like mom... One of the things you can do is go go to his office and say, Dr. and tire, I want you to tell me what's wrong with me. You're rowing you days, because that's one of the worst thing you can say to him, because fatigue could be so difficult to diagnose, and so then that just destroy his life.
Well, the doctors, I worked so hard anyway, doctors around the clock, but so do a lot of professions, and I think sleep is underrated in so many ways, and you say it's maybe not... I don't know if it's misdiagnosed, but I think people don't give it enough credibility when you say fatigue, sleep deprivation, and I'm so fascinated by fatigue, because fatigue affects us. So how does it affect us?
Well, I think affects everyone, and look, look at the... As common sense, if you feel tired, heritable, don't bother me. You know, if you come home and then the house is a mess because your wife is tired and then what's gonna happen, this can create tension problems, if you come home, you're tired, and your wife said, Can you help me through the trash out, do these... Is that what's gonna happen to keep you stir? He's gonna be remorse, creates tension with relationships, if you're driving, you're tired you and get to sleep that night, you can have a road race, you're gonna get angry if someone just cross in front of you. So create problems also at work, what happened? You just drain tired. Why are you gonna do... You're gonna perform your best, you want, you're gonna just get by, you're gonna try to make it through the day and go Hammonds in the couch and watch TV for the next few hours you have let ego to sleep, so that it's really important to fix for that. Because affects you, every level relationship, work, create fights, road, race, everything. So it's very important because what you're saying is every aspect of our lives so professionally with your families and kids, everything, so without taking care of us, we can't take care of... What we're doing exactly.
It affects the whole environment.
Why is fatigue so common?
I think that we are exposed to so many toxic an environment, the food that we eat, so poor that we're not geriatrician, we're not sleeping well, we're surrounded by a lot of electronic equipment that also affects us, we are loaded with toxins, is stress, so many, many things as are body not to function optimally, and eventually we start developing today, because I'm probably start falling apart, basically... One of the reason why we develop a ten, if we go a little bit deeper into it, it's because the mitochondria is malfunctioning, so you think about the mitochondria as a little battery on the body, and if you look at every cell in our body has thousands... MTogether mitochondria, the battery is the energy source, so we have 100 trillion cells in a body, and every cell has hundreds of mitochondria and those are failing... Alright, because of the toxins Wiki will consume because of the lack of nutrients, because of lack of oxygen, because you name it, many, many things, those tiny batteries are failing, so now I look like laysan you at thousands of lights, and I want those light bolt to start failing, you don't have enough light. Will happen in our body when you have these mitochondria, there are my functioning... They're not producing energy.
So what happened? You feel tired.
There might a contact produces into see the... The whole was our whole life is to produce energy, whatever you eat, the oxen would breathe heart pointing to send oxytocin and all the nutrients we have sold were through, interesting, everything, everything goes to the end result, which is to the mitochondria and the... In result of this moon is to put the energy and the whole life... Easter for the centers, we don't have an erg, we're not functioning. So when you have those little tiny batteries failing, how you're gonna feel, you feel tired, so you have to repair the matroid, you have to help that those little tiny batteries to get Richard in order to get energy.
So medication doesn't do anything for that... Yeah, that's what we feel so much.
Do you feel like with your primary practice in the beginning, you feel... How do you feel about that now compared to where you are with your practice now, well, when you think about, this is again, very common sense, we are trying to fix everything with one pill, we have one tool for this, one before, one before that. Do help? No, he will not change anything because you rely need help to fix itself, appear will interfere with that is not going to fix anything, so it's like, you know, if you have a hole, a wall and I tell you to repair that home, and you say, Okay, I reperfusion-Ed you to give me the material to retire and I say, Well, you know what, I don't have the proper material, but let me just give you some branches and some car Board or some paper and you just fix it home. Do you think that whole... It's gonna be a properly fix, the wall is gonna be fine.
Well, what are we doing with our body... Exactly the same thing. We tell them who repair itself, fix itself, and what happened, we don't the material they need, so how in the world the way is gonna be able to repair itself, we cannot interfere with the body, the body, not what to do with Don.
We're trying to think that we can... A smart God saying, Okay, we know how to fix everything. And you don't know what you're doing.
Now we're trying to change the food, we're trying to change your water, we're trying to change everything, and it's not going to work, we have to allow our body thicker itself, and that's where medication fails on Fortune and that the conventional approach in the conventional approach for fatigue is basically giving a medication for everything... See, when I was practicing the mainstream medicine and unfortunate that how we are trained, I'm not criticizing any doctors, I was doing exactly the same. Basically, what you do is when you're talking to the patient, what are you doing? You're already thinking about what they're catching you give the patients giving you your symptoms and other symptoms, and then you just automatically think, You know this is what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna give him this ammunition, this vacation, so you can give the medication and move to the next patient, because you're low with patients, but that's not the way to post... Not how it works, we have to allow the body to take care of itself is very complex.
And now you said... One of the first things I heard you say is how gratifying this is for you to be in your new... Where you are now for the past five years, what makes it so broadcast, you see the results? I mean, when I was just prescribe a medication in the patient come back, I feel the same, okay, they gave me another medication, I feel this, Oh, try another one, this one didn't work. But now you see patients coming back, they're smiling, they're happy, the relationships improve, they have energy, they give you hard, they're using their life, and it's gratifying for you to see results, not just to give them another peer, so changing their lifestyle is very important.
I'd love to hear that story.
This is interesting information, and of course, talking about fatigue is also great information, we have a lot more to learn from you, Dr. Joe, may now. Please stay with us, we'll be right. That we do more.

And now, back to our interview with doctors or Mano, and we're talking about fatigue and how can that affect us, or how do you approach fatigue?
Well, if I tell you what I used to do first and know how I'm high do it now, our main three Martin, unfortunately, the way we look at a strongest, it can go from a virus to a cancer or something, Rosario, so I think good means many things that's why you can... When you tell your doctor you have... You're tired, you feel a day, you're gonna go crazy because he could go from one buyer is maybe you're just having a call or buyers and affecting you, it's gonna last you three, four day is gonna get better, but if you have a tank four months, it could go up from something serious like cancer, multiple sclerosis, something serious like Lyme disease or many deficiencies. So what do they do? Basically, they start with the basic block test, they check your CPC, you can save and basil attire in test and everything.
Everything looks okay.
So they say, No, you're fine, there's nothing wrong with you.
What else I do? Okay, let's do a cat can, because you might have a two more in there, so then they do a catchy, have them in other chairs or whatever, they start doing other studies like ultrasound and end up maybe... Okay, let's close copy, let's do an prints could be, and then you go from test to test to test, and at the end, everything is normal, so what happened now, they're gonna say, Well, we can find it in wrong with you. You'd probably depressed, so let me put you antidepressant or let me keep you something for anti because maybe something, you know something wrong with you, maybe depression or something in your life who doesn't have a stress, so anyway, they're gonna say That's it. Let me put your notaries... Well, now you're taking the medication and you still feel tired, but now you also have the side effects from the medication, so the patient is going on... I know on a no, and they look from another doctor and they go and they do the same thing and they go... And they go from place to place, I see them all the time, and they go from front Ciano, the major clinic to the UCI, to USC and the studio study, and then nothing is being diagnosed, and so they just accepted or... So I'm the press and I'm just, this is how it's gonna be. Well, that's what I used to do, but then when I learned that everything has a car and a reason, then you have to stay looking for that, you can't just put people into the present, and that probably means that we're looking for the big things... Okay, we're looking for the cancer, they offer the major stuff, but what about the microscopic level, what about the sales that are not functioning well because the little tiny might to Conrad is not functioning well because it has efficiencies. vitamins and mineral nutrients, and also because we've been giving the body the wrong food, so the approach is, let me give you a medication, but do they ever tell you to change your lifestyle... Okay, keep doing what you're doing, which is, and let me give you this pill, they may give you that pill at the present, and this and that. Nothing changes.
Okay, so how do we approach that now, well, first thing is, you have to look into what they are eating, most of us are eating a lot about food, we saw Brita were hamburgers. We eat pizza, we ring sales. We are basically thinking, we're eating healthy or not.
I have people that are vegetarian, the CSEM, and they have cancer, and I think in walser has cancer well, because they're eating non-organic restart.
So what happened, I mean, they are leading themselves with more pesticides and herbicides that the normal person because they're eating and excess of pesticides, so it's what we are eating or doing well, it's a factions... How do we change things? Well, we need to start looking into their life time, a lot of people doing two-three classes of wine at night, and they see it as that normal, is alcohol is affecting your brain and you're boring, other people just eat everything thinking they're eating healthy and they're not so there are a lot of efficiencies. We have a lot of pages that have very abnormal hormones, more women getting on the 45 to 50-year-olds, they have deficiencies of the hormones, they started the early menopause or they're in menopause. We have men, that is very interesting now because I can see that almost every patient, every male patient that I check, it doesn't matter how old he is. His home. Hello, this does... TRON is low.
So these people are functioning with are gasoline, they're walking around with no hormones, and then they go see the doctor and fortune the Rogerson, think about that. And they don't know how to deal with it.
So what do they do? They came unto the presence, okay, so how do I approach things? First, I have to find out what they're eating and we need to change their habits, number two, are they sleeping well? A lot people have problems is leaping because what they're eating, because it's stress, or because they have a sleep apnea that has not been diagnosed.
Then hormones to me, between nutrition and hormones, that's how I fix almost everything is so beautiful to use, to see hormones, how they help people, and you see them coming almost like a plant, it has no how water for weeks. And then you put those hormones in there and they just blossom mentors, they came along, they get the check up, they wake up the Tamil, start getting happy, it's just like they just plumber.
So this is basically when I push... Now, there are too many other areas, you have to look into other areas what the patient, maybe he developed Lyme Disease, has never been diagnosed, he is very common.Lime disease is very common, especially from the east coast, because people sometimes have... They got bitten by a tick, then you got the no, because they never had any symptoms and they're walking around with a chronic infection, but they have an excess of Candela because they're eating a lot of carbohydrates that is growing candida and their interesting and affecting... Are they having problems with the nutrition, they're not eating good enough, do they have orestes, maybe they have something on a harm, they're going through the board, maybe they have a kid that is doing drugs, who knows we just can't take care of someone in five minutes, or 10 Metairie do in practice. We just get led 10 minutes. Patient every 10 means you just have time to say Hello, how you doing the... Okay, here's your prescription, you have to sit down with the patient, go through their whole life and see what's really affecting them, and when you make change it, every little thing. But we'll go away.
It's more than just putting a band-aid on something and I am a prescription, it's caring about them, listening to them and being there for them and yeah, being more than just a doctor to give them a prescription for them, you're talking also your approach, but you're also talking about kind of the most common causes of fatigue in that answer as well, what results do you normally see in your practice is... For salt, tell you I see the day Prince Peter, I used to do, where it was frustrating because you see the patients coming back again, again and again and again with the same symptoms, and you just feel like cooking on what's going on with this space, and so okay, let me send you to the specialist, he's gonna know what to do, and especially to go through the same thing and then put them on was medication and how they're using more toxic medication to suppress their symptoms, and then they go from there to another... Especially standing on and on and on, so now I see that by starting the patients on hormone replacement therapy that we have to talk about that later, also changing the food they eat, trying to look also on allergies, foals are so common, and many people are alert, dairy products, and many people are allergic to gluten.
And they go on diagnostic, they never suspect that they've been needing that for years, there is actually a beautiful documentary called Fork or ice works overnight, you can watch our YouTube.
And these doctors have been researching the damage that discussed by her food, and they discovered that Adnan mal products are really toxic for us, so we watched us documentary is a beautiful documentary, very mad, and then that will open your eyes stores, what kind of I is the most appropriate diet for us, but just by changing the diet, you will get better... A lot of people develop gluten sensitivity or even gluten allergies, and then a rain for they feel tired, they have a joint and the stomach is always blooded and they have all this abdominal noise and all this stuff that I just don't feel good. When you stop the gluten... That's it, it changes everything. And I tell you that because I was there, I was suffering from that problem before, I was always having that problem, blood is on a brain fog, I couldn't function, and then I stopped gluten. I'm gluten free, I have anything gluten for about two, three years. And it works beautiful.
The inflammation was away. And people don't realize that they have to stop. I think that what you're also saying is, when you go to the doctor and you think you just said you have five, 10 minutes with the doctor, and the prescription comes, but with you, you become the therapist and you take the time and you find out what's going on in their lives, and I see how this is making a difference in your life and the patient's life that you're serving... Yeah, and then you have to scratch. Basically, what happens is sometimes the patient will tell you, you have to really get that, and that's why it's important, you know, it's so interesting that... Now that I ask, What are you eating? And most Palpation say, I'm eating healthy, but when you start asking questions, but I have my glass of milk every morning and... And I have my cereal and I don't eat any red meat. And I did this and I do that. Okay, I just drink that I saw is I don't drink regular source... Okay, strike number one.
Don't drink diet. So again, those are... Chemicals are a toxic for your body, and it costs a lot of problems... You have to avoid anything, there is chemical. God didn't create rivers with sales, and he didn't put Saladin the ocean, he gave us water, and then we forget that beautiful liquid in there, we just substitute that by uses and gather it and one salernitana monsters. And we wonder why are we...
Sacha, would you say to someone suffering from fatigue... Well, don't keep up. There is however, you just have to find the right person to diagnose you and treat you, I mean, if you can see me and I don't know the right test and I don't know the right thing, and I tell you that your CBC is not a way... I look normal, but did I look for the reason that I do the right test... If you take your car to the mechanic and said, my car is making noises when I'm driving and the engine sound like something is wrong, and I can go and check the tires and the trunk is... Now everything looks good.
I don't see... What's the problem here? Did he check the engine? No.
Okay, so how in the walk is gonna diagnose thing when he never thinks about... Maybe something wrong with the engine.
Same thing, if you go to a lot turning, he doesn't do the appropriate test, Heston that... What's wrong with you?
So number one, I mean, you don't really wanna go to the doctor. Just change your lifestyle. I'll tell you something, most people don't need to see a doctor if you start eating healthy, you love yourself with vegetables and fruit, organic, drink water, try to eliminate stress from your life, call down the protein from animal source and exercise, you're really not gonna need to see a doctor.
Very good, I love that. And it sounds so easy, but if we can just start shifting that way, doctor, this has been great, great information and therapy session too.
Thank you for your time, I Saltzman, and we look forward to having you on again. In the mean time, you can catch more of Dr. Jeremy, on his website, I progressive Med dot com, and learn more about his passion for alternative medicine and the other great things he's involved with. We look forward to your next visit.
Thank you.
