As conversations around sustainability continue to grow, Trinity Oaks Wine is ahead of the curve and leading the way in the wine industry. Sustainability goes back to the foundation of the Trinity Oaks brand; it starts with vineyard management and ends with a “Plant it Forward” program. When planting grapes, vineyard managers also plant cover-crops, such as barley and oats, between vines to enrich the soil and entice beneficial insects who in turn help mitigate detrimental pests. Then begins the winemaking process, where all parts of the harvest (grapes, seeds, stems, etc.) are converted and composted back into the vineyards and incorporated into cattle feed.

After the harvest, it’s time for bottling to begin. Trinity Oaks packaging is made with 100% post-consumer recycled paper labels, recyclable corks, plant-based capsules, and unbleached shippers made from 40% post-consumer waste. After the wine is packaged and bottled, Trinity Oaks takes sustainability another step further by partnering with Trees for the Future. The partnership between Trinity Oaks and Trees for the Future was established in 2008 as a promise between the two organizations to plant one tree for every bottle sold, hence the start of the “One Bottle One Tree” program. Since its inception, Trinity Oaks’ “One Bottle One Tree” program has planted more than 24 million trees. These trees offer valuable resources that not only heblp the environment, but also empower women in impoverished communities around the world, providing them food security and year-round income to lead better lives.

While sustainability and ethical practices are at the forefront of Trinity Oaks wine, the wines are also all certified vegan, non-GMO and gluten-free. Along with those certifications, Trinity Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio and Pinot Noir have all been awarded ‘Best Buys’ by Wine Enthusiast. While Trinity Oaks continues to contribute towards the future of the environment, the portfolio also offers a robust variety of wines at an approachable price point. So, raise a glass to sustainability and toast to helping the environment, one bottle at a time!
