Recipe by Married to Health

Growing up we had a Halloween tradition of making scary rice crispy treats. Little did we know there were some scary things in the ingredients we were using!

Here is a recipe for a fun Halloween treat that helps you leave out the:

  • GMOs
  • Artificial Colors
  • Gelatin
  • And Much More

The best part is that the Nature’s Path Envirokidz cereal is made with legume flour giving more protein to help decrease the chances of sugar spikes.

Vegan (NO BAKE) Crispy Marshmallow Treats!

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack of Dandies Halloween Marshmallows
  • 2-3 tbsp of Miyokos Vegan Butter
  • 4 Cups of Leapin Lemurs cereal

Directions:

  1. Grab a large pot and begin to melt butter.
  2. Incorporate the marshmallows into the pot stirring
  3. Once the mixture is melted and blended together slowly stir in the cereal
  4. Stir well so all of the cereal is coated.
  5. Place into a baking pan and spread evenly, we used pyrex 2 qt baking pan.
  6. Place in the fridge until cooled, approx. 30 min.
  7. Cut and enjoy, makes approx. 12 squares.

Add your favorite toppings, draw scary faces, and get creative with the kids!
