What if water wasn’t shipped around the world, creating extra waste, and generally messed with? It’s time for something different. Time to rethink, reset and renew.  Proud Source Spring Water is Water Done Different.

As the name implies, Proud Source is proud of the source of their water. Proud Source Spring Water is naturally alkaline with minerals and electrolytes producing a pH of 8.1+/-. The water is sustainably packaged and bottled directly at the source, leveraging energy efficient methods to reduce the company’s carbon footprint.

The Earth knows more about water than humans ever will, man-made is not best made. Did you know there is a difference between spring and purified water? In case you didn’t, here are three important facts you should know.

1.     Purified and Spring water are not created equal.

2.     Spring water originates from nature.

3.     Purified water most commonly begins as tap water, originating from a municipal source.

Almost 64% of bottled water in the US is considered purified water or tap water that has been boiled and bottled. Many companies will bottle water from a municipal water source, but brand it in premium packaging to appear higher quality. Purified water has been heavily filtered and stripped of any naturally occurring minerals and electrolytes.

Spring water, on the other hand, originates from an underground formation like an aquifer. This water is unique compared to purified water because of its TDS, or total dissolved solids. TDS typically includes minerals like calcium, magnesium, potassium, etc. Proud Source Spring Water contains calcium, magnesium, potassium, silica, bicarbonates, and chlorides. It is lightly filtered for any impurities but maintains all of its naturally occurring nutrients for you to enjoy!

Proud Source bottles their water from two domestic spring sources. Their Western spring source is in Mackay, Idaho located in a historic region in the Rocky Mountains with a storied past of seismic, volcanic activity. Ancient layers of rock provide natural filtration and make the water mineral-rich. Their Eastern spring source in Marianna, Florida is located in the Apalachicola Forest region. This area is home to some of the largest and most vital springs in the country. The springs have been formed and filtered through limestone rock dating back 35 million years. This water originates from deep underground caves, giving it a unique mineral composition and crisp, refreshing taste.
