Hello, I'm Kimberly King, and welcome to the mother's market radio show, the show dedicated to the Truth, Beauty and Goodness of the human condition. On today's show, we're going to discuss the effects of radiation and what you can do to protect yourself, the recent events in Japan have raised many questions, so we're going to do the best we can to provide answers, plus we'll tell you what's new at mother's market and give you a chance to win a 100 gift part.
The first step, we're extremely pleased to welcome back one of the foremost authorities when it comes to the health of your body, learn kennel MD has been practicing medicine for almost 25 years, she is the founder and medical director of the Center for New Medicine located in Irvine California and is the Medical Advisor for perfectly healthy products, and we welcome her back to the mother's radio show, Dr. Kelly, how are you?
Great, it's wonderful to be here, Kim.
It's always wonderful to chat with you, and for those in our audience that may not be familiar with your mission and your work, why don't you fill our audience in a little bit before we get to today is a topic...
Yes, well, our mission, the center for new medicine, and my mission is to educate and empower people to live their life the maximum heathen they can possibly enjoy, feeling great with high energy and wonderful spirits.
Oh, it's great, and I love your mission. Today, we're also... We're talking about radiation. It is the foremost talked about the topic with the recent earthquake and tsunami in Japan, plus the ensuing damage to the nuclear power plants has raised a question about how people can protect themselves if the levels of radiation were to get to the unsafe levels here in Southern California and as of this taping, the levels have not reached a dangerous levels that we know about, however, that didn't stop people from going out and buying things to protect themselves. So Dr. cane wanna talk about radiation, and first of all, where does radiation come from?
Well, that's great. It is a topic of conversation in lunette, Japan has suffered a very serious earthquake, and I think that most of Japan's electricity comes from the nuclear reactors, and a lot of other countries around the world have nuclear power plants to provide them electricity, and I think people need to be aware of that, because Genoa was the first radiation accident, it was only one nuclear reactor.
So here we are talking about Japan and there's what? Six potential dangerous situations that we know of 'cause... I don't know, we don't know the full story. We don't know, we're not there. And the reports that we're getting, we can't verify everything because of the seriousness of the situation, but we also have radiation in our backyard, we have... We're in Southern California, so we have the standard no bread nuclear power plant. And one thing I've noticed that I never noticed before camp is that I do heavy metal testing, and that's looking for mercury and lead and cadmium and arsenic, and one of the other medals is uranium, and uranium is what comes from nuclear power plant.
There are other things like plutonium also, and uranium never used to be in the urine of the test that we did performed on our patients and now many, many, many people... And actually, if you live in San Clemente, do you know that you sign a paper saying that there is potential danger of exposure of radiation... Oh my god, Santa. Now, plant, so I have seen it.
So radiation is all around us.
Now, that's what we're talking about, nuclear power plants, there's 4442 nuclear power plants around the world, and I think 30 countries had to look that up, and so anyway, so the potential and dangerous they're out there for all of us at any one time, because we can't predict nature, and so I think we need to be aware and it is in our backyard and it is in the air, it's in Japan. Okay, it's in Japan now, okay. As far as I looked on the globe... Japan is in the world, and we are in the world. And so whatever happens in Japan happens in the United States of America, everywhere.
So I think we need to be prepared, and that goes into the point that we all are exposed to toxins and we are being poisoned to death regardless of what happened to Japan, because we're just talking... But you're just talking about the nuclear power plant, what about all the other toxins that are being released because of the earthquake? Just like what happened at 9-11. I mean, if you look at what the dangers that happened when we had 911 and all the toxins and the detoxification that had to take place with all those people, especially the Farman, I was quite... It was unbelievable, but regardless of an accident, let's just say we didn't have a natural disaster from nature, we are living in a sea of toxins, we're talking about radiation, and you're talked about radiation for nuclear power plants, we are being radiated all the time, and we're either eating radiated foods, or our radiation from our cell phones, or the radiation from mammograms and CT scans and from flying... We call that ionizing radiation, so the bottom line is radiations everywhere, regardless, so instead of sitting around, we need to be a pay attention and we gotta be mindful and pay attention to our bodies, because all this was not part of the world back 100 plus years ago, right, people, we didn't have this, and so we are not educating our people about what to do to protect themselves because it's disease, decreasing or increasing, increasing. It is all increasing are viable and everyone from 1 to 100 or whoever long we live, and so what you need to... Bottom line, you need to do is you need to protect yourselves and you protect yourselves with antioxidants, antioxidants are basically found in foods. Okay, so what is an antioxidant? Let's talk about anti-oxidants, well, antioxidants, vitamin A, coenzyme cut, vitamin C, vitamin E And lineup, all those are naturally found in foods like in vegetables, all kinds of vegetables, all kinds of fruit, all kinds of foods that have... That's where you get anti-oxen, you get an toxins, you're not gonna get antioxidants in a box of crackers, as there's not gonna be an antioxidant in there, you're not gonna get in a piece of meat or a piece of chicken, it's not that... Those are not beneficial meat or chicken or fish, but there's not gonna be anti-axis, you're gonna find antioxidants from fresh vegetables, hopefully little as possible and fruit, and so that protects the cell, 'cause what's inside the cell, you have the cell runs on something called mitochondria... Mitochondria are the energy factors of the cell, and so what happens is to keep that cell going, we have to take care of our monochrome mitochondria, where the energy powerhouses of the cells and the DNA, where the DNA and RNA and all that good stuff. Which is the cellular information that makes the cells go and create themselves, so that's what you're protecting... So you take those anti-oxen, did you can take those, say you don't eat like for example, I take anti-accents on top of the good vegetables that I eat every day, I take them because I happen to know that there are... It's absolutely mandatory in this day in time to protect us with the on-site, do you know there are 600 billion pounds of toxins on the planet regardless of what happened in Japan, 600 billion... Well, how many people are there in the planet... Okay, there's only six billion people, so there's a lot for all of us, and so anyway, so we have to protect ourselves, and so I highly recommend patients take anti-oxidants now, children have more antioxidant production because they have youth on their side, but they still even need the anti-accident protection, like I said, Cohen-7210, vitamin C, vitamin A, vitamin E in selenium. All these are antioxidants.
Now, on top of that, one of the most important things is our internal anti-oxidant is called glutathione, now, glutathione is made and every cell in our body, and as we age, we don't make the glutathione, that's what people... The older we get sicker because we don't make glutathione, there's four different enzymes in the production of making glutathione, so in order to protect our glutathione, we must either take load, attain and you can't really take glue to thin, so you have to take... There's something called In acetyl cysteine, and it's a very inexpensive chemical that increases your natural protection of glutathione, so I highly recommend people who are fragile or sick or even, let's say you just wanna do it for protection, just daily protection. You can take in a C, It's very... People don't realize that's very inexpensive, but that will increase your internal production of anti-oxen, which is glutathione and coenzyme, Q10 are the that your body and my body makes... We don't make Vitamin C and we don't make Vitamin E, so we have to take those, we have to get them from our food or we have to take it in supplement form, but these coenzyme Q10 and the glutathione are our own natural internal production of antioxidants, but as we age, like I said, or due injury or due to toxins, we don't make that... The other thing, the other great antioxidants called or POC asset, there's like policy acid and there's... Land is 20 times more potent than L. and then let's talk about, because there's so many different facets of this radiation toxicity, because we're talking... Everybody on the news, you're talking about AI a Din and oh my God, what we're gonna do... Well, first of all, 95% of the population is deficient in iodine, okay, so regardless of the radiation exposure, everybody's pretty deficient.
Okay, and there is a way to test to see if you are definition by you paint I done on your body and however long it's supposed to last 24 hours, and if it one less 24ers, you're deficient. But the rule of them, as you're supposed to take a combination of I had Dan with I Hadid, and it's about 12 milligrams, and you should take one of those, and Why are you taking that? You're taking it to protect your thyroid, your thyroid is the gland that sits in your neck, that protect you, it's... Thyroid is the battery to every one of yourselves, it drives the metabolism of everyone yourself, so you wanna protect your thyroid, and that's why you're taking... That's Okay, that's...
'cause there's gotta be a clarification, 'cause people are like, Oh my God, that's how I'm gonna predict myself for mediation... No, no, no, it's not gonna work like that.
You are protecting your Toronto, need your thyroid, that's how you prevent cancer, that's how you control your metabolism, it drives the metabolism, every single cell in your body, if you didn't have your Thailand, your debt now, can you take replacement as you can, but it's great to have your own thyroid.
So I wanna clarify that 'cause people think that, Okay, you take Iden to protect... No, one of the best things you can do is everybody needs to have baking soda in their cover, baking soda and planning of baking soda and luckily, bacon soda, Cushing, but if you take baking so orally, it binds with uranium, which is one of the chemicals from radiation toxicity, it binds with the chemicals stages, you can take baking so path or you can take baking so to do baking soda and water and a couple of teaspoons every day, it's not gonna hurt you if there's no downside, it makes your body very alkaline and it helps you excrete, you reading it from your kidneys, so ultimately, how does radiation affect our bodies... Well, it damages our DNA, where our DNA is the cellular... The seeds of the cell. So our DNA is what makes everything happen. It gives the direction. To the body to do what it's gonna do. So we are protecting the DNA material in ourself, and how would we know if it's being damaged... You know, that's a great question. you don't know, unless you did some sophisticated testing night, there is a test you could do to check your anti-oxidant potential, you can usually with the blood test, tell if you have good antioxidants on board and then... You know, you're protecting your DNA, and it's not a very expensive test, a lot of times we'll do it, but personally, I assume that everybody needs those things just because of what I see on a regular basis, and we just need to be in protection mode in these times, it's very, very obvious. All you have to read is there's 156 people per hour getting diagnosed with cancer.
Okay, this... And I just... Unfortunately, all this stuff, Cam doesn't make the news. Now, here we are, we're talking about 5000 people dying here in 5000 Pender, but you know what, we're talking about. 600000 people, diaper Disease a year, 60000 people die of cancer. A year. Okay, what is seen? This is serious, we're having our own tsunami earthquakes every day, right.
As we speak for arsenal that... So we need to put this in perspective. And so we have our own phonemic earthquake in healthcare, and we must confront it and deal with it and not put our head in the sand.
Wow, and that's an excellent point to end on right now... Wow, interesting information, Dr. Canale, as always, we have to end right there where you have to take a quick break and put this all together, but something to think about as we go into this break when we return, we'll have more information on radiation and the tsunami called cancer. Dr. Canale, we will be right back.

And now back to our interview with Dr. Cain, we're talking about radiation. Of course. And in your opinion, Dr. kaali, what products can people get to protect themselves? Well, I think the first product that patients can get is I dyno people think I do, you can get it in its traditional tablet form, I know on the news it's potassium in that there are several different popular Ides, I odor Rall and I three. And all those things, but it should be 12 milligrams of a combination of Aydin and I die... That's what people need to do. And probably one a day, probably I tell my patients to load up with a couple of day for three or four days, and then just one a day that then other forms of ID, 'cause let's just say you can't get done. Okay, let's just say... 'cause I mean, let's face it.
They're sold out everywhere it... So alpheus, I done, and it's a natural form in the sea weeds, then you can get sewed, you can get Ross. We do see there's unloaded at mother's Welles, see we... People don't realize that. No, I was just gonna say, so people don't realize... So those kinds of things. So there's other kinds of sources of iodine, miso soup is great to eat, so all those things miso help Rob cupen packages in seeding packages, they have several things and then they have those little packages... My kids love them, the little pre-cut squares, but in any kind of see, we've good, they're all wonderful sources for radiation toxicity and for... I did, they do a dual function, so your seeds at best, but a lots of Susie universal thing for versus the other thing we need to protect so that protector thyroid and you, if you use sweet, does protect for radiation damage, but the other most important thing is a broad spectrum anti-oxidant.
So buying the individual Antoine would be kind of difficult. So they do have vitamin that are broad spectrum, so get a broad spectrum, like has like vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, selenium catiline helps protect the thyroid also as well as being an anti-oxides, well as being great for your immune system and zinc, and then coenzyme Q10 is a given, you take that separately, everyone should take Comte regardless of the radiation, but it's a great antioxidant, now, a great way to increase the glutathione that I spoke about is taking in asceticism, that's short for N-a-C, a very inexpensive product that you can use to increase your own production of glutathione, which is your master antioxidant...
Oh, I was gonna say, how often should they take these two... Well, the item is one a day, and broader anti-oxidant at least once a day, if you can do it twice a day, morning and night. That would be great. And then the coenzyme 210 at least once a day, and the NAC. Usually, I'd give that two to three times, I'll do it two times a day, 'cause nobody will do anything three times a day, I just know from my patients, so two times a day, the inositol system.
Now also, one of the things that I highly recommend is Zeal light L. people may have may or have not heard of it, it's a volcanic ash mineral that basically has the chemical shape of a honeycomb hexagon, and it actually acts like a cage to capture chemicals and toxins, and radiation is a chemical and talks into the body. So lading, Zeolite Zilla comes in liquids and sprays and powders... Any form is great. The one that I use it is an Australian Elias. It's the Austria, the strain, volcanic ash mine. They're very good. But I think I use that for my... Personally, I use that myself twice a day, I do it in between patients, and with the water, I don't usually have time to put it in the class, but I do it as a detoxification measure.
I mentioned EPS on salt and baking soda, those are great ways to detox, infrared sauna, we all need to be detoxing regardless of the radiation exposure, and also I think in case, I think people need to be prepared and have foods that they have read a detuned plenty of water. So make sure you have good water and storage of water, plus you need to have boots that last a long time, like unfortunate, if you don't have water, you can't make rice and bean so you can buy can beans bike or organic can beings who can buy that? can tune a canned fish, I'd have at least enough for three days... At least for three days, have enough water for three days, also purple cabbage last a long time. So that's very good. Another great natural antioxidant that everybody has in their spice cabinet is to me, America's fabulous, you can eat it straight, put it on your food, make it's a wonderful thing to put in food, but people can panic, we just need to be prepared. And be prepared, it's not that expensive to buy baking soda, EPS and salsa anti-oxidants and have beans and rice and things that are already prepared, some prepared foods already, but like I said, I have enough for a couple of days. So the other thing you can do, I tell people Indoor pollution is worse than outdoor where pollution is, you can do... Buy some air purifiers, that's a lot more expensive. But I think we just take the proper measures regardless, regardless of what happens, we need to just take the proper missions, prepper measures and be prepared. And plenty of sushi too, like you said.Who's at risk? who's at risk? Everyone's at risk. Anyone alive is at risk, anything alive is a risk, everybody... Everybody's arrest, there's no one that's exempt from this process.
Okay, well, any other advice that you can give to people to set them at ease, I know you've covered a lot here, and I appreciate that you've gone through with the antioxidants and as far as preparing everybody's grocery list as well. Well, I think the most important thing, because we should not... It's just like conventional medicine, it's very reactive, we can't wait until disaster strikes, we need to be proactive with our life in its entirety, and so what does that mean? It means having a good foundation to begin with, we need to have help, health is the absence of disease.
So if you're tired and you don't feel well and you don't are not functioning well, then you know that you're not functioning and Optum... And so if we do have something, a crisis or a challenge, you want your body, mind and body prepared for it, and so as we see, we've already seen disasters happen, so we're not prepared, we need to act prepared for whatever may come, and I really, really do that it's like... It's like, it's amazing. I see a cancer patients, okay. And they're like, Okay, you talk to go... What I do, what can I do, man? They're in emergency mode, and I'm like, does it take that much pain to get her tension... No, we need to have our attention now, this is the day we're given... Let's be prepared now.
