3 Reasons to Drink Richard’s Rainwater
Yes, it’s really rain!®
Richard’s Rainwater started with a quest to get cleaner, better-tasting water for a ranch near Austin, TX in 1994. Tired of well water that produced dirty dishes, dry hair, and cardboard-stiff jeans, Richard Heinichen installed a rain collection system at his home. Realizing he wanted to share the gift of rainwater, Richard built Tank Town in Dripping Springs, TX; a series of rainwater cisterns to collect rainwater for his friends and neighbors.
Richard spent years pursing the education and certification required to reshape rainwater consumption laws. Finally in 2002, Richard’s Rainwater becomes the first company in the nation to receive licensing to bottle and distribute rainwater. With that, Richard’s Rainwater became the first renewable water brand in the world.
