Trinity Oaks Wine Plants 25 Million Trees
For decades, Trinity Oaks has been working tirelessly to create a positive change in the wine industry through sustainable practices and impactful partnerships. The Trinity Oaks team pays close attention to developing California’s top vineyards with a focus on coastal climates proven to produce superior, expressive fruit. Each year they select the finest fruit from these growing regions to carefully craft the portfolio of wines. Along with making great wines, Trinity Oaks is leading the charge for sustainability in the wine industry. Trinity Oaks goes above and beyond in sustainable vineyard and winemaking practices, eco-friendly packaging and POS, and progressive partnerships.
Furthermore, a high percentage of post-winemaking materials are recycled and utilized. The grape skins, seeds, and stems are separated from the wine grapes. Those skins and stems are then converted into compost for the vineyards, nutraceutical use and cattle feed to ensure nothing goes to waste. They then bottle the wines into lightweight 50% recycled glass with recyclable screwcaps. Finally, the wines are packaged into shippers made from post-consumer wastepaper creating less waste.
In 2008, Trinchero Family Estates and Trinity Oaks Wine partnered with Trees for the Future. The partnership is a commitment between the two organizations to plant two trees for each case of Trinity Oaks wine sold. Since partnering with Trees for the Future, Trinity Oaks has helped plant 25 million trees. These trees offer valuable resources that not only help the environment but also empower people in impoverished communities around the world, providing them with food security and year-round income to lead better lives.
The Trinity Oaks wines are all certified vegan, non-GMO, and gluten-free. Along with those certifications, Trinity Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, and Pinot Noir have all been awarded ‘Best Buys’ by Wine Enthusiast. While Trinity Oaks continues to contribute towards the future of the environment, they want to focus on Earth Day and their 25 million tree impact. So, toast to sustainability and helping the environment, one glass at a time!
